Big Beaver Tree Service offers more than 40 years of experience in arboriculture and landscape maintenance to Lexington and Central Kentucky
Ian Hoffman, founder of Big Beaver, is a 1975 University of Kentucky graduate with a A.S. in Forestry and one of the first certified arborists in Kentucky. For over thirty years he has been caring for the beautiful landscape of our Bluegrass with the same passion and enthusiasm as he had the day he started. As a result, Big Beaver Tree Service has evolved from one man’s dream into an award winning industry leader.
In 2021, Ian retired and sold the company to Woodchuck Holdings LLC. Longtime employee, Chuck Bracket (credentials), and John Saylor, former head of LFUCG forestry department (credentials) now run the day-to-day operations of Big Beaver Tree Service. The new ownership is dedicated to providing the same excellent service and attention to detail as the former owner.
